We are an established, family run swim school, keen to promote fun and safety in and around water whilst learning how to swim. We use only fully qualified (Level 2) swimming teachers and have small class sizes (maximum of 6 per class).
Please look at our timetable where you can book online or please contact Debbie for further information and to book your place.
We are pleased to be able to offer free assessments as well as trial lessons (subject to space in a class).
We teach children from age 6 months upwards in Adult and Child classes, moving into classes with just a teacher when they are about 3 years old. From our Improver Plus grade upwards, classes are taught using the whole length of the pool allowing both stroke technique and stamina to be developed. We also offer a Rookie Lifeguard class aimed at children aged 8 to 16 and a Ladies Only class for beginners and improvers. All of our lessons follow the national governing body for swimming's, the ASA, Learn to Swim framework. We have a new Adult's Swim for Fitness group, offering lengths swimming with a teacher on hand for help, motivation and stroke technique.
We are also an approved learning destination for the Children's University so are authorised to sign off hours in 'Passports to Learning'.
We have a very small number of places available for 1:1, 1:2 lessons or family lessons. Please ring 07581 223330 for details of times.
In June, we support the Royal Life Saving Society's Drowning Prevention Week, running a number of different activities in and out of lessons to promote water safety. Here are the winning colouring competition entries for 2013.
